Project Overview

This is a crypto card app supported by Yativo white label solution. Designed to help users top up, withdraw USDC, and request virtual or physical cards, which can be used in online or real life stores. My focus was on creating a flexible, user-friendly design that could be easily adapted.

My Role

TAs the lead designer, I work with the founder to understand user needs, recommend design solutions, guide the design process from start to finish, and ensure smooth collaboration with developers. I also help prioritize what matters most and keep everyone aligned.

Problem Solving

Challenge

Many individuals, particularly those in LATAM are challanged with limited banking infrastructure, struggle with financial inclusion.
Traditional banking services are either inaccessible or expensive, making everyday transactions difficult. At the same time, crypto users need a simple and reliable way to spend their digital assets in real-world scenarios.

Research & Insights

I looked into RedotPay to see what was working and what wasn’t. Their app felt bit confusing, especially for new users, and but was simple to onboard.
This helped me design the app to be more straightforward with easier deposits, clearer card setup, and a cleaner, simpler experience overall.

Wireframing & User Flow Mapping

I started with quick sketches and low-fidelity wireframes to plan out the core user flow. This helped me focus on structure before getting into the visuals. I mapped out key actions like depositing crypto, applying for a card and withdrawing funds, with clear steps.
I also tested a few layout ideas on mobile only. These early drafts helped catch potential friction points before moving into high-fidelity design.

High-Fidelity UI Design

After finalizing the wireframes and validating core flows, I moved on to creating high fidelity screens that reflect the final product look and feel. My focus during this stage was to deliver a clean, intuitive interface.
a. Multi-option Deposits: Users can choose between Binance Pay and direct crypto deposits, with clear guidance and network fee breakdowns.
b. Withdrawals: Easy USDC-to-wallet withdrawal with chain selection, QR scanning, and memo support.
c. Card Applications: A user-friendly interface to request virtual or physical cards, with upfront pricing and billing info for transparency.

Design handoff

Once the designs were finalized, I worked closely with developers to bring the product to life using a style guide. Challenges arose due to development delays and bug fixes, requiring ongoing refinements to maintain design integrity.
